super duper easy, just make a list and read it over. then affirm something along the lines of "i have it all right now" and then thats it. you have it now congratulations. just stand on it.
🧁 DISTRACTION METHOD ;
simply affirm for a bit, then DROP IT and find something else to do. you already have it after all. just don't contradict urself.
🧁 SUBLIMINALS ;
even easier. just listen to some subliminal for subconscious saturation. i like to listen to the calm version of subliminals so that i can listen to my music and just saturate like that.

at home nail care: maintaining strong and healthy nails at home

as much as i'm sure (almost) all of us love getting our nails done, keeping our natural nails up is just as important, if not more.

pre-mani care is a huge part of keeping your nails healthy. so before going to get your nails done or doing them yourself, there's a few things you should do as far as preparation goes to prevent damaging your nails.
cuticle care
taking care of your cuticles is essential for nail health. I personally avoid cutting my cuticles since it could lead to infection or nail damage. but I still push my cuticles back (preferably after a shower) and that keeps them looks fresh
keep your cuticles moisturized as well because it promotes nail growth and strength.
trims
think of your nails kinda like your hair. trimming your nails regularly can help prevent breakage or snapping. I personally think keeping your nails trimmed down gives a cleaner and well kept look to your nails since there's not always dirt and bacteria getting in them.
biotin
taking biotin or just certain vitamins in general, is so good for your nail and hair health. but biotin in particular helps with cell growth and the metabolism of amino acids that are essential for nail growth
builder gel
i love putting builder gel on my nails to keep them strong and from chipping. I recommend doing some research before buying one so you don't get any with harsh chemicals.
quick hot tips
stop biting your nails. its hard, I know. but trust me its so worth it and improves your nails tremendously.
be cautious with your natural nails. use the pads of your fingers to open stuff (or things along those lines)
jojoba oil to moisturize your cuticles is literally the best oil you could use.
when getting acrylics or things like that, take breaks in between each set to let your nails breath

your morning shapes your entire day, thats why you need to have the most dolly, organized and accomplished morning routine. you can do these in whichever way order you prefer, whatever suits and improves you is what’s best! having a routine increases your productivity and helps you build and maintain healthy habits. enjoy 🎀
AFFIRMATIONS;
affirming in the morning paves the way to a positive day. it puts you in a good and good attitude. affirming increases your self esteem and reduces stress. you can use any positive affirmations to have these benefits. personally, the affirmations i use when i wake up in the morning are: 
i radiate kindness.
i am sweet, kind and polite.
throughout every situation i stay cool, calm and collected.
i am always safe and secure within myself.
i am confident and believe in myself wherever i go.
you can use any affirmation that aligns with you to start your day on a positive note!
DOLLING YOURSELF UP;
dolling yourself up in the morning could be as simple as a quick rinse off, moisturizing and a change of clothes.
although showering is not a neccessity in your morning routine, it always helps brush off the tiredness from your beauty sleep, but the difference to staying in the same clothes you slept in is that when you look good, you feel good! and that always impacts your attitude and how you work!
in my daily routine i have a daily minimum of showering, moisturizing and the skincare and makeup of my preference because making myself look presentable always makes me feel like i can conquer the day and bring my best attitude. 
SKINCARE AND GUA SHA;
skincare and using my gua sha is the best part of my morning routine. waking your face up and preparing for a new day puts me in the best mood.
start double cleansing! use an oil based cleanser and a water based cleanser, double cleansing removes impurities from your skin, prevent clogged pores and allows your skincare to work wonders on your skin!
READING;
i always read in the morning, it makes me feel productive, smart and it increases my knowledge. its a great way to restart your brain and brush off the sleepiness from the night before. reading at any time of the day has so many benefits including reducing your stress, expanding your vocabulary and improves your social skills. even if you dont have time to read in the morning, try fit it into your daily schedule, it does absolute wonders for your brain!
BREAKFAST AND HYDRATION;
always eat breakfast! it gets you ready for the day and improves your concentration. if you don't eat lunch when you're at school or out and about (which you should!). it helps you feel more energetic, awake and helps you function throughout the day instead of relying on the food you ate for dinner yesterday.
drinking water helps so so much. water helps solve so many problems. water hydrates your skin, detoxifies your body and helps with weight loss. drink water!! trust me.
FIXING YOUR BED;
fixing your bed and preparing your room for the day makes you feel productive, prepared and ready for the day. it helps prevent you to go back to sleep in your bed and waste the day away when you could be doing so much more!!

MINDSET ;
first off lets take a look at ur mindset. you need to be willing to learn and if ur stubborn then ur not gonna allow urself to learn and become smarter so for that reason mindset is the perfect place to start when ur starting ur beauty and brains journey.
perspective is EVERYTHING when it comes to learning. if u have the belief that "i hate math so much, im so not good at it etc etc" you're already setting urself up for failure. remember that we are in charge of our own learning.

figure out the sources of ur limiting beliefs about urself and challenge them. ask urself "why do i think im bad at math (or any other subject)" and the answers that u give urself, CHALLENGE them.
UNDERSTAND THAT ;
before we go any further understand that no subject is too complicated to learn and if ur experiencing that then ur learning it the wrong way…💬🎀
if ur having a hard time understanding a subject in school because of the way ur teacher explains it, ask another teacher at ur school and if that doesn't work turn to online resources OR just ask chat gpt. i ask chat gpt to help me break down math problems and explain how to do them and it works rly good for me.
READING ;
from my own experience i feel like reading is so so important. bcuz reading helps u to expand ur vocabulary and improves comprehension and so much more. personally i love to read so this isnt hard for me to do but if u originally dont like to read here are some ways to romanticize reading.

♡ start with topics/genres that u love
♡ set small goals (like reading for 5-10 minutes a day) and then building upon those goals
♡ experiment with physical books, e-books etc to figure out what u like best
WHAT U WATCH ;
i watch a lot of discussion based youtube videos, and video essays, documentaries etc and i have learned so much from them and they're actually one of my favorite ways to learn things. so i highly recommend watching some. watching things like this is so important because they provide a deeper understanding of real-world issues, cultures, and events that we might not encounter in our daily lives.

HOW TO UNDERSTAND ;
understanding what u read and what u learn is so so important. the way i make sure that i understand what im learning is through writing papers. writing papers about things that interest me or things that i learn has helped me to retain what i learn instead of forgetting it all.
another key thing to remember is PRACTICE. if u dont practice what u learn you'll literally forget it. use everything that u learn and if u can't physically use it, imagine urself using it.
MAKE IT A GAME ;
this is where the beauty aspect of the phrase "beauty and brains" comes into play. make learning like a GAME. i think thats how u get smart the best. just implement it into ur daily life.

for example if u have a habit of watching an episode of ur favorite show a day (or multiple) between episodes read for x amount of time. if u go for a run everyday listen to an audio book whilst running. think of that scene in the movie legally blonde where elle was reading her textbook while working out.

i dont usually post textposts, but i decided to do something different because, its november!!! nd we all know this months is when things go wrong and i've been struggling to practice self-care so here are some of my favourite things i like to do to remind myself i am loved, and perhaps give you all some inspo if you're in a funk too!! <3

listen to music i tend to have different playlists as i believe that the music you listen to dictates your mood. as much as i enjoy my jazz and classical, when im in a funk i need to be hype 24/7!! my go to's are usually anything future, miss stallion, glorilla, king von, tate mcrae, charli or carti. i need to listen to music that'll manifest success and confidence.
read i'll read anything really, just to keep my mind off social media BECAUSE I DO NOT WANT TO ROT MY BRAIN WHEN IM FEELING SULKY. im currently reading letters from a stoic by seneca - im learning plenty and its keeping me stay calm
body movement i love a good run, or a pilates sesh so i'll put all my anger and sadness into pushing myself to run an extra k, or that extra set. sometimes its nice to just clear ur lungs and ur mind, and it'll build my strength physically and mentally!!! plus i'll look even better so he'll regret ever ending things with me
visit the beach im a beach girl forever, the ocean has always been my best friend. a quick swim will alwayssss level me out. there's cute boutiques and my favourite açai place along the esplanade and i love walking down there during the sunset or sunrise to keep me busy.
annoy my friends i love my friends so much they're my everything!!! they bring me peace even if we're loud. there's something about surrounding yourself with positive and loving energy that i'll never get tired of, if i could i would give all my love in my body to them.
write ive always been a writer i think. i have to get everything in my mind onto paper or a document or i lose it. its nice to write in my journal about things im grateful for, things im scared about and things i want to achieve. as well as just what went on in my day - i think that now im out of high school im living a much more dramatic and different life to what i used to, so i need to process these things. also i write w a muji pen so it makes the experience so fun.
cry no matter how nonchalant i try to be, im a crier - even at the clubs (it gets embarrassing) but i find it a great way to rid my anger, sadness or stress - better out than in.
meditate ive only just started practicing this, but its very peaceful!! well duh i like to do it during sunset in the park near one of the beaches i frequent (so i can swim too hehe) and the sound of the waves, the people and life can kind of block out anything in my head!!
clean/re-organise my room organised room = organised mind!! (my dad taught me that one) but during this process i always find something that i forgot about and i get distracted, so it takes longer but i get the job #done
call my mummy my mum and i are close, shes my best friend so i tell her everything (except my tattoos and my ehem..rendevouz..) her wisdom has helped me in a lot of situations...i tend to write down the advice she gives me so i dont forget and fuck up. again :p
retail therapy maybe not the most healthy way of self-care, but it gets the job done i cannot lie!! sometimes you need to spend a little bit of money to sustain some peace in your life. you do need that glossier lip liner babe, get it, you deserve it.
ofc some of these things may not work well for you, but self-care is what makes you feel good!!! im open to new ideas of self-care so lmk what you guys do :p + thank you so much for 3 blessed years on this account, eternally grateful for everyone <3

hey lovelies! mindy here <3 welcome to the first post in our law of attraction series!! in this post, i want to introduce you to the basics of loa and share how aligning your energy with your desires can open up a world of possibility. the law of attraction is based on the idea that like attracts like. in other words, your thoughts + feelings lead you to experiences that match your inner energy.
what does that really mean?
every thought has energy
focusing on what you want helps you tune into that frequency
being clear about your intentions helps the universe know what to deliver
here’s how you can get started on this journey:
get clear on your desires
write down what you truly want in different areas of your life (love, career, health, etc.)
ensure your goals are expressed positively. for example, say “i choose to experience joy every day” instead of “i don’t want to be sad.”
2. pursue a mindset of abundance
begin each day by appreciating something in your life
a simple gratitude list can really shift your perspective and help you notice the good around you
3. experiment with visualization
find a quiet corner, close your eyes, and picture your desired reality as if it’s already here
engage your senses: imagine the sounds, colors, and even textures of your future reality
hold that image in your mind, and allow yourself to feel the excitement and peace that come with it (super important)
3. start a daily practice
a few minutes each morning dedicated to affirmation or mindfulness can amplify your energy
consistency is key, even small efforts add up in the long run
remember, the law of attraction isn’t magic, it’s about actively setting your alignment so your actions + mindset attract the right opportunities. when i first started, i kept a journal by my bedside and noted one positive thought in the morning. it was such a game-changer in shifting my vibe from worry to possibility.
homework for this week:
create a clear list of what you want to attract in the next few months
try a daily gratitude exercise before you even get out of bed
experiment with a simple visualization session each night

achieving buttery smooth skin ° ᡣ𐭩 . ° .

achieving soft skin starts before the shower!! so having a pre shower routine is essential
DRY BRUSHING
get. a. dry. brush. just do it. it made my skin so so soft before I even got into the shower. dry brushing stimulates the lymphatic system, exfoliates the skin, removes toxins, etc. i do this one- two times per week! but it all depends on your skin sensitivity.

MOISTURIZING
right when you get out of the shower, you need to moisturize. lotion, body oil to seal everything in, and then perfume, all in that order = the softest skin ever
SHAVING
something that could cause dry skin is your shaving routine. its recommended to use at least a four blade razor to get the closest, smoothest shave. I personally like using baby oil or something along the lines of that to shave because it doesn't irritate skin and it always makes my shave come out amazing. please please exfoliate before you shave. it removes the layer of dead skin so you're able to get a closer shave
EXFOLIATING
same thing with the dry brush, i love a good sugar scrub or exfoliating gloves. keep in mind you don't need to use these every single day since it will damage your skin.
